Not actually a nut at all, but the fruit of a palm which can grow to 100', the coconut's hard, woody shell contains a firm flesh that can be eaten as-is or grated for use in baking and confections.

Tavilla imports coconuts from the Dominican Republic and is the home of the 'easy open' coconut, which is grooved and wrapped. Orders are shipped in 24 count boxes. Special packing and label options are available.
